What: Park and river activities (games, tubing, fishing, eating, hiking etc. based on weather conditions)
Who: Single Adults (Kids are welcome.)
When: 1:00 until about 6:00 pm
Where: Cedar Picnic Shelter, Milo McIver State Park near Estacada, OR 
Cost: $5.00 per vehicle state park parking permit

We begin gathering for activities at 1:00. We plan to eat about 4:30 (after water activity).

Park activity options include: (Remember, you will need to bring your own equipment.) 
River tubing, kayaking, canoeing or rafting
27 hole disc golf course
Fishing (Chinook salmon fish are released into the river annually from nearby hatchery)
Hiking (7 miles of hiking trails)

For those who are riding down the river on tubes, kayaks, canoes, or rafts, we will gather at picnic shelter to arrange carpooling promptly at 1:30 and enter the water at 2:00. We will enter the river at McIver’s upper boat ramp and exit at McIver’s lower boat ramp. It takes about 2 hours to float down this section of the river on a tube. We ask that you do not try to navigate the river unless you have the proper equipment and skill.

We will provide:
√ hot dogs (hot dogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, and relish)
√ water

Please bring:
√ side dish or desert to share
√ cup, plate, utensils, and napkins
√ suntan lotion
√ money for parking permit
√ equipment (tubes, outdoor games, fishing gear, Frisbee, life jacket, camp chair, etc.)
√ modest clothing for the weather condition

Driving Directions 
From I-205 north or south, take Highway 224 (Estacada exit) to Estacada. Turn south on Highway 211 and go 2 miles to Hayden Rd. Turn right on Hayden and go 1 mile to Springwater Rd. Turn right onto Springwater and go 1.5 miles to park entrance.
